Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
We need to realise that what we do to people ....we do to God.
The Holy Spirit lives in us and we live in Jesus.
When we are insulted, spoken about, abused, ridiculed, hated and slandered the Holy Spirit feels our pain. We are not affected because Greater is He that lives in us than he that is in the world.
Gods Word tells us that we should do unto others as we would have them do unto us.
We know deep down what God expects of us. God gave us our concience to be guided by the Holy Spirit. Every time a saved Christian faces a right or wrong decision in their lives the Holy Spirit teps in and makes us aware of the right and the wrong.
Our human nature fights against what the Holy Spirit wants and often we go against Gods guidance and do what we think is right. In those instances we are actually telling God that our decision is better than His.
