Child Discipline by God

Undisciplined Parents = Undisciplined children
We are the foundation of our children. God gave us children to love and enjoy them, and to bring them up according to His Will and instruction, not according to our own. We need to remember that children come through us, not from us. We all belong to God. God created us for His divine purpose. When we are in Heaven our children will not be as our children are on earth. We all undergo supernatural change. Our life in heaven will, be focused solely on God, not on our children.

We will also answer to God for the way we brought up "His" children. God gives us a clear and all-knowing instruction on how to discipline 'His" children. Who are we that we should over-rule God and do it our way when He has given us specific instruction and warning??

THE PROBLEM

Parents today believe that their way to bring up God's children is better than God's way.

Here are just a few of God's instruction and guidance on bringing up children.

CHILDREN
Ecc 8:11  Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil.
Pro_22:6  Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Pro_20:11  Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright.
Pro_22:15  Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.
Pro_23:13  Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die.
Pro_29:15  The rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.
Mat_10:21  Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death,
Pro_5:23  He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray.
Pro_6:23  For the commandment is a lamp and the teaching a light, and the reproofs of discipline are the way of life,
Pro_13:24  Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.
Pro_19:18  Discipline your son, for there is hope; do not set your heart on putting him to death.
Pro_22:15  Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline drives it far from him.
Pro_23:13  Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die.
Pro_29:17  Discipline your son, and he will give you rest; he will give delight to your heart.
Eph_6:4  Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.

This is what Jesus says will happen in "The Time of The End"the
Mat_10:21  Brother will deliver brother over to death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death,


It is more than clear why we should bring God's children up His way and not our way.

TEEN REBELLION

As children we all undergo enormous physical change when we reach puberty. This change is a flesh change it is a playground for the devil. Children suddenly begin to think they are able to live a grown-ups life and and take on grown-up responsibility. This in actual fact is of coarse a lie from the devil.

This is the time that God's instruction is able to overcome the devils tactics as the devil enters his playing field and tries to turn children into rebellious unfaithful.

Most parents who have not adhered to God's instruction on how to discipline children experience severe pain when the devils disrespect is displayed in children toward their parents. The end result is often extreme trauma for both sides, but more so for the parent as the parent suddenly realises they have failed. Unfortunately, this is fact and could have been avoided.

CONCLUSION

We need to follow God's instruction in life, not our own. We fall short of many things in life because of our "rebellious" behaviour towards God. We tend to think that we are all knowing and God will understand that we are doing our best. Unfortunately, we are acting like fools. Man failed dismally ever since Adam and Eve.

We need to give God the Glory He deserves instead of taking for it ourselves, then wondering why it did not work. That.......is REBELLION.
